FAIL BETTER
READING SERIES
SHOW & TELL
Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.
A reading series/developmental workshop for NYC writers and actors. All are welcome! We accept scripts for plays, film/tv/web series, sketches, solo shows, storytelling, monologues and more. Experiment with your "mess"-in-progress in our supportive space where you’re given room to fail...and grow.

What We Do
Each meeting we do cold readings, raw performances of 3 pieces (10-20ish pages/mins) followed by 15ish minutes of constructive feedback.

Who Can Submit
Writers: Fail Better is a safe space to hear your unfinished work read aloud.
Actors: Going crazy practicing that monologue in front of the mirror? Come practice in front of a live audience of fellow failees.
Storytellers and Stand-ups: Work on your piece for the next open mic in our developmental space.

Don't fit into any of these categories? Reach out to info@failbetter.nyc and tell us more about you and your piece. We'd love to support your art-making.
